What November is actually like
The first half of the month is the sweet spot the guidebooks quietly agree on. Days are sunny and warm enough for the pool at noon, the Majorelle and Menara gardens are at their gentlest, and the Atlas foothills and Agafay desert are full-day trips again rather than heat endurance tests.
Evenings are the trade, and they are a good one. Temperatures drop toward 52°F after dark, which means a layer on the rooftop at dinner and a fire lit in the riad courtyard, which is exactly what those courtyards were built for.
What to know before you book
The calendar matters at both ends. Early November inherits October’s weather at softer prices; from mid-December the city flips to one of its priciest weeks of the year as the holiday crowd arrives. Book the first three weeks of November and you are inside the quietest good-weather window Marrakech offers.
The riads are the argument. The city’s finest houses price these weeks between the autumn peak and the holidays as what they are, a lull, and the same courtyard suite that commands April rates goes for meaningfully less while the weather gives up almost nothing.
